Cleared up face textures[]

This page would benefit from the addition of isometric renders.
Please remove this notice once you've added suitable isometric renders to the article.
The specific instructions are: Clearer Face icon of ancient mob in game

This help notice was left on the page. Not sure if someone wanted isometric renderings of the mob or simply a clearer face texture, so I carried out the latter.——JavaRogers (talk) 21:45, 23 June 2022 (UTC)

Explanation of edit[]

This and the MCD:Ancient Offering article go hand-in-hand. A brief explanation of how runes and ancient offerings work is called for by following list. Without it the unfamiliar reader doesn't know why we've written rune combinations next to every name.——JavaRogers (talk) 19:39, 22 July 2022 (UTC)

Location table and other changes[]

The location table is a sparse table. It's super hard to parse and find anything. Do we even need it or could it be in a more compact format? I noticed we also removed all the other information about drops, etc. back in June. If we removed it because it was on the individual pages, should we not do the same with location? - AD OffKilter (talk) 19:49, 22 July 2022 (UTC)

It actually took me a while and much effort to put the table together, I think it should stay. Also, other pages have it and are in the same situation. Drour1234 (talk), 22 July 2022 (UTC)
While I appreciate the amount of effort it took to do it, it's still really hard to parse out the greens in the sea of reds. I highly recommend a more compact format. If other pages are doing that it might warrant those changing as well. Curious what other folks think... - AD OffKilter (talk) 20:18, 22 July 2022 (UTC)
How about removing the red marks? Drour1234 (talk), 22 July 2022 (UTC)
That would certainly probably help. I just wish the table wasn't so wide that it required scrolling to see it all. But given the length of the names (and hence the columns), I don't have a good solution for that if you are looking for a true grid. Otherwise, to me having the list of ancients and another column with their location seems simpler to grok, though if you are looking by location that is certainly harder. I suppose it depends on the desired use of the table. Is it going from ancient to location, location to ancient, or both. - AD OffKilter (talk) 00:20, 23 July 2022 (UTC)
