A wraith is an undead mob that can be found within the various missions of Minecraft Dungeons.

Wraiths appear to be an undead ghost-like mob that resemble a skeleton but are composed of a skull and a small rib cage. They wear blue hoods over themselves that glow and they have two small hands. In Minecraft Dungeons Arcade, Their glowing effect sometimes fades.

Wraith "Novelty"

While wraiths are immune to their own Ice Bouquet, they still take damage from fire and soul fire.

Basic attack

Wraiths attack their target by creating a 3×3 area of a scorching Ice Bouquet on the ground under the hero. The flames damage the hero (and allies) and cause damage over time. Other enemies do not take damage from the Ice Bouquet. The Ice Bouquet does not deal damage after the hero has left (they do not inflict Burning). Attacking or stunning a wraith while they are trying to attack cancels the attack. Wraiths can rarely summon a cross pattern of the Ice Bouquet.

Teleport

Wraiths can teleport away from targets that get too close. Attacking or stunning a wraith while they are teleporting cancels the teleport, though they remain invisible for a few seconds.

Novelty

Wraiths sometimes swing itself while idling, as one of the easter eggs in the game.

The ancient terror is an ancient wraith that can be encountered during an ancient hunt with the minimum offering of the following runes:

The ancient resides within an Underhalls-themed arena and possesses, at minimum, the following enchantments:

• Burning
• Chilling
• Electrified
• Fire Trail

Nine enchanted spiders act as the ancient's minions, possessing the following enchantments:

Upon defeating the ancient terror, a gilded variant of the following items drops as a reward:

• Exploding Crossbow
  • Firebolt Thrower
  • Imploding Crossbow
• Mystery Armor
• Champion's Armor
  • Hero's Armor

Data value

• In the game files, wraiths are referred to internally by the name Wraith while the character file is referred to internally by the name BP_WraithReloaded
• In the Wraith\Lingering JSON files, the Ice Bouquet is referred to internally by the names BP_IceBouquet and BP_IceBouquet_Center
• In the Wraith\VFX JSON files, the Ice Bouquet particle systems is referred to internally as the PS_Wraith_FireBlock and PS_Wraith_GhostFireAttack.

Trivia

• Wraith walk animation are named with the suffix "2". Means it was reworked before the official launch.
• Wraith have an unused melee attack behavior component in its json file. It uses husk's strong attack animation as placeholder.
