Hostile

A Tropical Slime is a variant of a slime with a water-based texture filled with tropical fish. They are a hostile mob that appeared in the Hidden Depths DLC for Minecraft Dungeons.

Appearance[]

Tropical slimes are an aquatic variant of the slime, which is composed of water and can hold two tropical fish within themselves. Their eyes and mouth are dark blue and their body being brighter blue in color, their outer layer is a lighter blue in color.

Spawning[]

Behavior[]

Tropical slimes behave identically to normal slimes, hopping towards and ramming the hero. They can split when killed like slimes do. They have a unique ability that on death they grant the hero oxygen. Medium tropical slimes don’t split when killed, meaning that small tropical slimes can only exclusively spawn naturally in the mission. If a tropical slime moves over a starfish, the starfish immediately disappears. This behavior is exclusive to the tropical slimes and starfish. If a tropical slime is killed on land, it will still play the sound and animation for oxygen refilling but it will have no effect.
