The Stronghold is the first mission that can be found within the echoing void DLC of Minecraft Dungeons. Unlike all other DLC missions before it, the mission can be found on the Mainland tab, on a very small taiga island near the small continent.
Story
| “ |
|
„ |
| — In-game Story |
The story is that the hero would need to get six eyes of Ender from six endersent that went to six various locations on the Mainland. These locations are the Creeper Woods, the Soggy Swamp, the Pumpkin Pastures, the Cacti Canyon, the Desert Temple, and the Highblock Halls. To open the End Portal that resides within the stronghold the hero must retrieve these eyes and bring them back. Once opened, the otherworldly map will be unlocked within the "Other Dimensions" Tab. The first location on that map is the End Wilds[1].

Objectives
- The Stronghold
- Find the End portal.
- Travel to the End
- Place the eyes of the Ender.
Appearance
The stronghold is made up of stone bricks and wood. There are several pathways and brides over bottomless pits. The stone is covered with ripped blue carpets and silverfish can be seen falling from the roof. In the middle of it all, the End Portal sits levitated over a pit of lava. Unlike the original game, though, it has two sets of stairways leading up to it. When the hero clicks on the portal it will make a banging sound, and if it is not activated, a menu will appear and say the following message:
| “ |
|
„ |
| — End Portal |
There are also paths leading away from the portal that are blocked off by Eye of Ender doors. When clicked on, the following message appears:
| “ |
|
„ |
| — Blocked off Path |

A honey bottle is a consumable drink item obtainable by using a glass bottle on a full beehive. Honey bottles remove poison when drunk and can be used to craft honey blocks and sugar.
Obtaining
Tutorials/Honey farming
Harvesting
A honey bottle can be obtained by using a glass bottle on either a beehive or bee nest with a honey level of 5. Doing this angers any bees inside, causing them to attack the player, unless there is a campfire or another block on fire beneath the nest or hive.
A dispenser with glass bottles can be used to collect the honey without angering the bees. The honey bottle appears as an item in the dispenser's inventory. If the dispenser is full, the honey bottle is shot out.
Crafting
{{Crafting

Usage
To drink a honey bottle, press and hold use while it is selected in the hotbar. Drinking one restores 6 hunger and 1.2 hunger saturation. Consuming the item also has the benefit of removing any poison effect applied to the player. Unlike drinking milk, other applied effects are not removed upon drinking a honey bottle.
Honey bottles can be drunk even with a full hunger bar. Drinking a honey bottle takes 25% longer than eating other food - 2 seconds - and has a unique sound.

Glow berries are a food item obtained from cave vines and can be used to plant them.
Cave vines are a climbable, bonemealable plant that hangs off ceilings and grows glow berries. Cave vines with glow berries produce light and drop glow berries when broken or harvested. Cave vines with no glow berries will not drop anything.
Obtaining
Natural generation
Cave vines can be found in lush caves, hanging from cave ceilings.
Chest loot
glow-berries
Post-generation
Glow berries can be collected from a cave vine by using or breaking the vine. This yields one glow berry when the vine is bearing them and nothing when it is not. A cave vine also breaks if water runs over its location or if a piston extends or pushes a block into its location.
bedrock, using a tool with Silk Touch on cave vines always yields a glow berry, even if the vine appears empty.
Fortune has no effect on the number of glow berries dropped.
Usage
Placement
Glow berries can be placed on and grown from the bottom of most blocks. They have no specific lighting requirements. When placed, they can be of any length.
Growth
Placing glow berries on the bottom of a block creates a cave vine that grows downward one block at a time as long as air is beneath it and its maximum height (2 to 26 blocks) has not been reached. Each newly-grown cave vine block has a 1 in 9 chance of bearing glow berries. Only this tip can ever naturally grow them.JEexact growth rate and chance to bear glow berries
Using bone meal on a cave vine produces glow berries if the vine was not bearing any.
Java, cave vines stop growing if shears are used on the tip.
bedrock, if placing glow berries in the Nether, cave vines are able to grow and produces glow berries.
Food
To eat glow berries, press and hold use while it is selected in the hotbar. Eating one restores 2 hunger and 0.4 hunger saturation points, like sweet berries.
Light
When bearing glow berries, cave vines give off a light level of 14.
Composting
Placing glow berries into a composter by using them on it has a 30% chance of raising the compost level by 1.
Breeding
Glow berries can be fed to foxes to breed them. Foxes are similar to cats when being fed as a wild animal; a sudden movement by the player may cause the fox to flee even if the player holds glow berries. The resulting baby fox trusts the player and does not flee.
Glow berries can be used on baby foxes to reduce the time until they grow by 10%.
