This page describes content that is a part of the Echoing Void DLC.
The Snareling is a hostile mob found in the Echoing Void DLC. It utilizes both melee and ranged attacks.
Appearance
The Snareling is a tall mob that resembles the normal Enderman in body shape but instead of purple, it possesses lime-green eyes that position a bit upwards on its face. On its chest is what appears to be a glowing open hole and on its back is a large cube-like core, the purpose of which is unknown at the current time. It also possesses long arms that bend into a hook-like shape.
Behavior
The Snareling has two attacks, one where it repeatedly spins it's arms in a windmill-like fashion to attack the player, and it can also fire a large green projectile from its chest that explodes into some sort of sticky trap.

Trivia
- On a Twitter post featuring a close up of the Snareling, Laura De Llorens, one of the developers, states that the Snareling in the Echoing Void DLC is her favorite mob in the game.[2]
- The green eyes in its design is most likely a reference to the original design of Endermen, in which they had green eyes, rather than purple.
