A redstone sentry is a non-attackable entity that triggers traps when activated found in Minecraft Dungeons.
Appearance[]
Redstone sentries have small redstone patches that resemble eyes and a dark gray texture similar to the observer in the main Minecraft game.
Spawning[]
Behavior[]
Redstone sentries and the woodland sentries usually spawn in groups of five. They remain hidden beneath woodland sentries, only activating when a hero or a mob steps on top of a woodland sentry. Upon activating, it triggers a TNT launcher to shoot flaming arrows at the target.
TNT launcher[]
A TNT launcher is a trap that fires flaming arrows when activated by a redstone sentry.
Appearance[]
TNT launchers have a pair of redstone-like eyes with a face-like texture similar to that of the dispenser in the main Minecraft game.
Spawning[]
Behavior[]
TNT launchers shoot flaming arrows when activated, dealing high amounts of damage. Due to a bug, however, these arrows do not deal any damage.[1]
Woodland sentry[]
A woodland sentry, known in the animation files as a rug, is a non-attackable entity found in Minecraft Dungeons. The woodland sentry is classified under the redstone sentry in the game files.
Appearance[]
Woodland sentries resemble nothing more than an elevated section in a carpet, being used to cover redstone sentries and TNT launchers.
Spawning[]
Behavior[]
Upon walking over a woodland sentry, the redstone sentry beneath it triggers the nearby TNT launcher, which then shoots flaming arrows at the target.
