Danger awaits atop mighty peaks, and it will take a hero to stop the brewing storm! The path to the summit will lead you to new mobs, missions, and gear—just don’t look down.

The shards from the Orb of Dominance still wreak havoc on the Overworld. These jagged mountain peaks are no exception. Howling storms scour the path to the summit, and unless the shard is destroyed, these winds will become the storm that blows out the last flicker of hope for this world.

Howling Peaks is a paid DLC announced at Minecraft Live 2020 and released on December 9, 2020.[1][2][3][4][5][6] It is the third DLC in Minecraft Dungeons and is located in the Island Realms tab.
Unlike the previous two DLCs (Jungle Awakens and Creeping Winter), the Howling Peaks DLC is the first DLC that is not included in the Hero Pass. Instead, a new Season Pass was released that includes four DLCs. (Howling Peaks, Flames of the Nether, Hidden Depths, End DLC)
