Hidden Depths is an upcoming paid DLC for Minecraft Dungeons that will be released on May 26, 2021, the 1st year anniversary of Minecraft Dungeons.[1][2] It is the fifth DLC in Minecraft Dungeons, and takes place in an Ocean biome. Showcased at Minecraft Live 2020, it is the third Season Pass DLC after Flames of the Nether and Howling Peaks.

October 3, 2020Ocean DLC revealed during Minecraft Live 2020 in early development.
May 10, 2021The name for the DLC is revealed to be Hidden Depths and the release date of May 26, 2021.

Trivia

  • Some Salmon and Cod appear in the background of the official poster for the Hidden Depths DLC.
  • The beacon and basket artifacts are seen at 00:10 of the Hidden Depths Dev Diary
  • A drowned holding an eternal knife is seen in the Hidden Depths Dev Diary at 0:40
  • In the Dev Diary, a pale grayish-white skin is seen.
  • Some sort of darker green Guardian appears in the picture of the most recent image of the most recent twitter post. It appears right next to the player, near the center of the image. It appears to be slightly smaller than the regular Guardians that are seen in the upper corner of the image.
