The Glaive is a melee weapon in Minecraft Dungeons. They are commonly used by Skeleton Vanguards.

Synopsis

The Glaive appears as a long, thin pole with a blade attached to the end. As its appearance suggests, it boasts a longer melee range than the default Sword. However, to compensate, the Glaive has a much slower attack speed, along with a smaller area-of-effect (especially on the first two swings).

Usage

The Glaive possess high power and low speed and moderate range, and has a combo consisting of two overhead strikes and a sweep attack dealing more damage.

The first two hits deal the weapon's minimum melee damage, while the third, the sweep attack, deals the maximum melee damage.
