Drowned Necromancers are marine variants of the necromancer and miniboss mobs found in the DLC Hidden Depths for Minecraft Dungeons capable of summoning Drowned and attacking via lightning strikes.
Spawning
- Coral Rise
- Radiant Ravine
- Abyssal Monument (Sometimes)
Appearance
The Drowned Necromancer is a Drowned dressed in an outfit similar to a Necromancer. It wears a dark-blue hood fitted with two gold accents that resemble a crown and large shoulder pads with torn edges and gold rims, and on the back, a long blue cape with torn edges. Under its hood, it wears torn purple clothes and various gold accents like a belt and armbands. It holds a unique staff that resembles a trident but instead is black, has a blue orb on between the spikes, and having light blue tips on the spikes.
Behavior
Drowned Necromancers act like their land-based skeleton counterparts, summoning the regular undead mobs in addition to Drowned. Other than summoning, they are capable of attacking via striking a certain area around it with lightning using their trident staff, dealing damage to the player when in the vicinity. Also, they can shoot streams of blue projectiles at the player, dealing a bit of damage on impact.
