Note:
- Fix the Blastling's stationary render so its eyes are looking forward instead of looking to the right.
- Add More Textures such as the Flame Head and the Projectile.
A blastling is a hostile Enderling that can be found within the echoing void DLC of Minecraft Dungeons.
Appearance[]
Due to being a subspecies of endermen, blastlings bare a certain resemblance to them. Despite this, however, they are recognizable for having very thick arms and shiny purple fists. They are also recognizable because their heads are always alight with a purple flame emitting from their necks.[1] Blastlings also possess a small upper body as well as small purple streaks and spots on their legs.
Lore[]
There were many different subspecies of endermen that resided within the End, and it did not take the Heroes long to meet them. These subspecies were collectively known as enderlings. Blastlings were accounted as being the toughest enderlings, assailing any intruder to the End by shooting purple gobs at them from their fists. Despite this, however, the Heroes prevailed against them, making their way to the Broken Citadel, where they put a final end to the Orb of Dominance once and for all.[2]
Spawning[]
Behavior[]
- Blast attack
Blastlings attack the hero by rapidly shooting gooey purple projectiles from their large hands, acting as the End counterpart of piglin hunters.
- Teleport
Like other enderlings, if a hero gets too close, a blastling can teleport a fair distance away, though they don’t seem to do it as often as snarelings and watchlings.
Health[]
Blastlings have 450 HP in the code. On Default I, all mobs have 9.6% health and 12% damage of what is set in the code.
