1.5.0.0 is an update to Minecraft Dungeons released on October 26, 2020 for Windows, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch and on November 10, 2020 for Xbox Series X|S. It added and started the Spooky Fall event.[1][2]

Gameplay[]
- Added 20 new difficulty levels to Apocalypse mode.
- Each difficulty has stronger mobs and higher power level items.
- In higher levels, enemies will have a chance to revive when killed and have a higher chance of spawning with enchantments. Enemies also gain speed buffs and stagger resistance, which increases in higher difficulties.
- As the difficulty increases, item drops will also be rerolled for another item. The amount of item rerolls increases with the Difficulty.
- A new limited-time Halloween-themed event.
- During this event, seasonal trials that contain new unique challenges can be completed every day.
- Exclusive items are obtainable from Seasonal Trials.
- Some seasonal trials will also have a "Night" mode, which darkens the screen and causes mobs to constantly spawn around the player.

- The Howling Peaks island was added to Island Realms. however, it isn't able to be played yet until the DLC itself is released.

- Just before retrieving an item after an upgrade, you can now see the possible power range.
- Once an item reaches a certain power level, you’ll need to play missions on higher difficulty levels to upgrade the item further.
- If the blacksmith can upgrade the item, the item always gets at least +1 power level after upgrading.
- Now have more powerful enchantments.
- Reduced base damage by 20% (from 100% to 80%).
Gameplay[]
- Decreased the difficulty of some Daily Trials and all Trials now give better rewards.
- Deflecting has been rebalanced from 20/40/60% to 25/35/45%.
Fixes[]
- Fixed the Creepy Crypt Daily Trial not unlocking despite completing the requirements. (MCD-4391)
- Fixed the Daily Trials Completed counter not resetting to zero at midnight. (MCD-4497)
- Fixed Daily Trials on Underhalls being inaccessible for players who had unlocked but not completed the mission before Daily Trials were implemented
