Magma Blocks are light-emitting naturally occurring blocks found in the Nether that cause damage when stepped on. They also have an animated texture.
Obtaining
Natural generation
Magma blocks are found naturally in the Nether near lava lakes. They can be broken with a pickaxe.
Crafting
| Ingredients | Crafting recipe | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Magma Cream | Upcoming in PC Edition Template:1.10 |
Usage
Damage
Magma blocks damage living entities standing on top of them, dealing 1
of damage every 1⁄4 second.[verify] Magma blocks do not destroy items. Damage taken is considered fire damage and is reduced by armor, shields, the Resistance and Fire Resistance potion effects, and the Protection and Fire Protection enchantments. Armor will take damage, but a shield will not. The player can avoid being damaged at all, either by crouching, or by wearing Frost Walker boots.
On killing a player, the death message displayed in chat is: "<player> discovered floor was lava". If a player was pushed to their death onto magma blocks, the message is: "<player> walked on danger zone due to <mob>".
Behavior
When randomly ticked and water is on top of the block, the water will be removed with smoke particles.
Magma blocks emit smoke particles under rainfall.
If it receives light, it will emit the light level that absorbed. For example, a torch is placed 2 blocks away from the Magma Block. The block has a light level of 11. If the torch is broken, the Magma Block will emit a light level of 11.
The block itself naturally emits a light level of 3. The block looks as if it is a light level 15 block.

Cooked salmon is a food item obtained by cooking raw salmon.
Obtaining
Mob loot
Salmon
Salmon always drops 1 raw salmon when killed, unaffected by Looting. If it is killed while on fire, it drops 1 cooked salmon instead.
Guardians and elder guardians
Guardians and elder guardians have a 2.5% chance to drop a random fish, with 25% of them being raw salmon, which drops as cooked if the guardian was on fire. The chance of getting the fish drop is increased by 1% per level with Looting (for a maximum of 5.5% with Looting III), but the type of fish is not affected.
Polar bears
Polar bears have a 25% chance of dropping 0–2 raw salmon when killed. The maximum amount can be increased by 1 per level of Looting, for a maximum of 0-5 with Looting III. If killed while on fire, they drop cooked salmon instead.
Cooking
Cooked salmon can be obtained by cooking raw salmon in a furnace, smoker, or on a campfire. Each piece of cooked salmon removed from a furnace output slot gives 0.35 experience (22.4 experience per stack).

cooked-salmon
Trading
Apprentice-level fishermen villagers have a 50%bedrock or 2java chance to sell 6 cooked salmon for 6 raw salmon and an emerald.
Usage
Food
To eat cooked salmon, press and hold use while it is selected in the hotbar. Eating one restores 6 and 9.6 saturation, the same as cooked mutton.
Wolves
Bedrock, cooked salmon can be fed to wolves only if they are not at full health, healing them by . Cooked salmon does not accelerate the growth of baby wolves and cannot be used to breed them.

Fire charges can be used as ammunition for dispensers, or as a substitute for flint and steel.
When used, it instantly places a fire, similar to flint and steel. The fire charge is consumed in the process. It can prime TNT, light nether portals, campfires, candles, cakes with candles and creepersJE like flint and steel.
When a fire charge is fired from a dispenser, it shoots a small fireball.
