Light gray dye is a tertiary color made by crafting bone meal and gray dye together, or alternatively, two units of bone meal and an Ink Sac.
Uses
- Can be combined with Wool to make Light Gray Wool
- Can be applied to sheep, but as of the Beta update 1.2, light gray sheep occur naturally, though not much.
Crafting
Both of these recipes require 12 units of primary dye to produce 12 units of tertiary dye. The first recipe uses 4 ink sacs and 8 bone meal. The second recipe uses 3 ink sacs and 9 bone meal. Therefore, the second recipe is generally more cost-effective, unless you value bone meal for its alternative use as a fertilizer.
