This article is about the enchantment. For the game mechanic, see Damage § Knockback.
Knockback is an enchantment to a sword or an axe that increases the sword's knockback.
Usage
For each level, Knockback adds 3 blocks distance to the base knockback. The highest it can add without commands is 6 blocks. It combines slightly with knockback caused by attacking while sprinting[more information needed]. In Java Edition, players can hit armor stands back with a knockback enchantment, but not in Bedrock Edition.
