Jeb originally made clouds transparent when looking from underneath it in snapshot 13w06a.[50] However, this change was reverted in 13w10b as Jeb noticed that the fix caused an FPS drop. He stated "In the future we can fix this again, but with more specific cloud options in the video settings menu."[51]
