This guide is a simplified overview of all the changes in the Java Edition Beta 1.2.x releases, which assumes at least some familiarity with Beta 1.1.x releases

Cocoa Beans		Not legitimately obtainable.	Functions as brown dye.
Sugar		Ingredients Crafting recipe Sugar Cane	Used to make cake.
Charcoal		Ingredients Smelting recipe Oak Log + Any fuel	Functions identically to coal.
Dyes		Red dye is made from roses. Yellow dye is made from flowers. Green dye is made from cacti. The remaining dyes are crafted from other dyes.	Can be used to dye sheep and wool.
