There is no actual "Poisonous Potato Update" version of Minecraft in development.
24w14potato is an April Fools' joke snapshot, supposedly the first and only snapshot for the "The Poisonous Potato Update", released on April 1, 2024, which introduces the Potato dimension and all related content. This snapshot is a fork of 24w12a.
