22w14a is the fourth snapshot for Java Edition 1.19, released on April 6, 2022,[1] which adds clay renewability, mangrove trees, mangrove swamp biome, echo shard, recovery compass and fixes some bugs related to ancient cities and wardens.

- Now can convert into clay by placing mud above a block which has pointed dripstone underneath.
Items
- Can only be found in ancient cities' loot chests.
- Can be used to crafting recovery compass.
- A new type of compass which can points to the last place where player died.
- Randomly spinning when the player is not in the same dimension of the death point.
- Can be crafted by 1 compass surrounded by 9 echo shards.
World generation
- A new swamp located in warmer and more humid places, a place which a swamp can be found often.
- Contains mangrove tree, a new type of tree.
- Has a unique shape.[more information needed]
- It has a chance to generate a bee nest.
- Grows from mangrove propagules.
- Naturally spawns warm frogs.
- The floor is coated with a thick layer of mud.

- Now get angry at all living mobs that bump into it, not just players.
