- New furnace upgrade that allows for the smelting of ores and melting of metals faster than the traditional furnace.
- Twice as fast as a regular furnace.

Mobs
All professions correspond to their crafting stations. (Plain type)
- Villagers and zombie villagers now have seven skin types which correspond to the following biomes:
- Plains
- Desert
- Savanna
- Taiga
- Snowy Tundra / Snowy Taiga
- Jungle
- Swamp
- Each villager now has one of five profession levels, which can be seen on the badge on their suits.[more information needed]
- Cured zombie villagers will retain their trades if they are converted back into regular villagers.
- Will now spawn naturally in villages.
World Generation
Gameplay
- Patrol leaders now give 1–3 bad omen levels when killed. Outpost captains always give 1 only.
- Patrol leaders can now spawn at outposts.
- Illager beasts start at wave 2, witches at wave 4, evokers at wave 10.
