World generation
- Bastions
- Fortifications built by piglins that are found in the Nether.[1]

These features were mentioned during the development of Java Edition 1.16 or earlier, or during MINECON Live 2019, but have not been confirmed to be added in this update.
Blocks
- An in-game mechanism to see how many bees are in a hive may be added.[12]

- As smithing tables recieved functionality in 20w10a, fletching tables might also receive functionality.
Mobs
- The feature of pigs transforming to zombified piglins when struck by lightning may be removed.[15][more information needed]
