1.14, the first release of Village & Pillage[1], is an upcoming major update with the possible release date at the beginning of 2019. It will focus mainly on Villages. It will introduce many new stairs and slabs.[2] It will also update the taiga biome. 1.14 will not overhaul combat.[3][4]
