Items
  • Tridents[1]
    • Can be thrown at enemies[3]
    • Can be enchanted with new enchantments Loyalty, Impaler, and Slipstream Dash[3]
      • When enchanted with Loyalty, it will return to the player when thrown[3]
Mobs
  • "The Monster of the Night Skies" (Mob B)[3][5]
    • Was voted in by watchers of MineCon Earth[1]
    • Spawns at high altitudes, and swoops down in groups to attack players that have not slept in a long time.[1]
  • Dolphins[1][6]
    • Will often jump out of the water and land back in
      • Will lead players to sunken treasures[1]
  • Fish[1][4]
    • Come in several different colors and/or types
    • Can be picked up in a bucket and placed back down. When this is performed on the fish, it will no longer be able to despawn.

    • Can be applied to tridents.[3]
  • Impaler[3]

Planned changes

General
  • Water will be able to flow through semi-transparent blocks such as fences and slabs[1]
  • Items in water will float upwards[1]
  • Magma blocks placed under water will produce bubble columns that reduce the water's buoyancy[1]
    • These will make your boat shake when you sail near it until you sink with the boat[1]
    • These will make items that are in the water sink too[1]
