Template:1.10 is an upcoming major update to Minecraft with no set release date.
Version number
The version number of this update is 1.10. It is currently listed on the bug tracker as "Future Version - 1.10+",[1] and this version has been referred to as 1.10 by Minecraft developers Erik Broes (Grum)[2], Nathan Adams (Dinnerbone)[3], Jens Bergensten (Jeb)[4] and Michael Stoyke (Searge).[5]
Additions
General
- A new button called 'Auto-jump'
- Is on by default
- Ported from Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- NBT tags
- ZombieType
- 0: default, 1-5: villager, 6: husk
- Replaces IsVillager and VillagerProfession, they still function, but are no longer saved in the entity.
Blocks
- Used for the structure block to not replace existing blocks in that location.
- Unlike barrier block, holding one doesn't show others placed on map.
- Found in the nether.
- Crafted by filling a 3x3 crafting table with Nether Wart.
- Red Nether Brick is crafted by using a 2x2 space in a crafting table using Nether Brick and Nether Wart (2 nether brick and 2 nether wart), each of them placed in diagonal lines.
- Crafted by filling a 3x3 crafting table with Bone Meal.
- Placing it in a crafting table crafts 9 bone meal

- Cat
- Elder Guardian
- Polar bear

Mobs
- Grown ups and children spawn randomly in cold biomes
- When hit, the grown ups will attack you, the children run away
- Drop different types of fish
- Acts mostly like a normal skeleton
- Drops the same as skeletons plus an arrow of slowness
- Is a skeleton with SkeletonType set to 2
- Spawns in cold biome types (e.g. Ice Plains Spikes)
- Shoots Arrows of Slowness (0:30) at the target
- Behaves like a zombie
- Does not burn in sunlight
- Is a Zombie with ZombieType set to 5
- Spawns in warm biome types (e.g. Desert)
- Applies hunger debuff when attacking

- Now available for map makers.
- New texture.
- Now emits falling particles when floating, as in Pocket Edition.
Debug Menu
- Cursor
- Cursor in debug menu now have a black outline.
- Most likely a bug, as ProfMobius already assigned the issue to himself (https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-102091)
World generation
Fossils Structures
- spawns with coal ore and bone blocks
- Spawns underground rarely
- Now spawns with the corresponding wood to the biome
- Now spawns with grass paths and wooden bridges over water
- MineShafts
- Now spawns at any Y level in mesa biomes
- Spawns with dark oak wood in stead of oak wood
- Now spawns at any Y level in mesa biomes
- Now contains any type of wood instead of just Oak or Acacia.
Planned changes
- Numerical block IDs
- Limit will get removed[6]
