Illagers are hostile mobs that look similar to villagers and witches. The illagers may be considered "exiled", "outcast", or "offshoot", villagers, because they attack players, villagers, and iron golems.
Only the pillager, vindicator and the evoker can spawn naturally. The illusioner is exclusive to the Java Edition, and is considered unused. It has no spawn egg, and it cannot spawn naturally, however it can be summoned with commands. Vexes can be summoned by the evoker, but the illagers can only naturally spawn in woodland mansions. The pillager and the illager beast will be added in the Village and Pillage update[upcoming] and can spawn in raids and illager patrols.
Each illager also makes sound slightly different from each other, but still in a humming manner. This also applies to Witches.
