Hour of Code is an initiative by code.org encouraging children to learn coding. Mojang supports this initiative and created an hour-long introductory video explaining basic aspects of coding in a Minecraft setting, using Blockly.

Code.org is a nonprofit organization, dedicated to expanding access to computer science in schools and increasing participation by women and underrepresented minorities.
