Hearts are the form in which health is represented in Minecraft. The player starts with 10 hearts. These hearts can be fully or partially removed (To make for a total of 20 hit points)
Hearts can be restored by eating food such as Pork or Bread or Mushroom Soup
When you are low on hearts(less than or equal to 2), your entire health bar begins to shake!

Difficulty Settings
On Peaceful mode your hearts regenerate quickly after you are injured. In other modes your hearts do not regenerate and you must eat food to restore them.
