Goats are neutral mobs found in mountains.
Spawning
Groups of 2 to 3 goats spawn on extreme hills biomes at the surface at a light level of 7 or higher, however, extreme hills is only a temporary spawn.[1]
Behavior
Sometimes, a goat jumps high (around 5 blocks' distance mainly vertically) into the air. This usually happens if the goat is trying to cross an obstacle like a small hole in the ground. Goats take 20
× 10 less fall damage, taking 1
fall damage 25 blocks or lower,[2] and they also avoid walking into powder snow. While avoiding walking over powder snow, they also might jump over it, sometimes even in a narrow /confined jumping area.
Due to a bug, goats take 20
× 10 less damage for all types of damage after taking fall damage, taking 1
damage if it would do 20
× 10 damage or less normally.[3]
Attacking
Every 10–15 seconds, if a goat is directly looking at a mob or player, the goat attacks from up to 16 blocks away, except for other goats and shulkers. Goats also attack armor stands (or entities) without looking.[4] After choosing something to attack, the goat performs a small charging animation, then runs quickly toward the target and hits them, dealing significant knockback. The ram can travel up to 9 blocks. If the goat misses and instead hits a block, it has a chance of dropping a goat horn.
Goats do not attack back if attacked by a player or mob. When attacked, they exhibit the same panicky fleeing that passive mobs exhibit.
Breeding
Goats follow players that are within 10 blocks who are holding wheat. If goats are fed wheat, they enter love mode and breed. Unlike all other mobs that can breed, when goats are bred they produce multiple babies, 3–8 kids. Like other animals that can breed, the player is granted 1–7 experience when they are bred.
Drops
Upon successful breeding, 1–7.
Like other baby animals, killing a baby goat yields no items nor experience.
Milking
A goat is milked by using a bucket on it, yielding a milk bucket.

1.16.200Extension DPL<ul><li>Fish<br/>the type of mob
Fish are aquatic creatures that are found in river and ocean biomes.
Mobs
There are four categories of fish mobs in Minecraft:
*Cod
*Salmon
*Pufferfish
*Tropical Fish - many color and pattern varieties
In addition, there are other fish-like mobs that have different characteristics from fish: Axolotl, Guardian, and Elder Guardian.
Obtaining and transporting
A live fish can be captured by using a water bucket on a fish, to obtain a bucket of fish, which is the only way to obtain the live mob in item form. Using the bucket of fish on a water source block transfers the fish from the bucket to the body of water. A water bucket may also be used on axolotls in this manner.
Items
Fish exist in several different item forms. Upon death, fish drop their item form equivalent (cooked if on fire), with a chance to drop a bonebedrock or bone meal.java

Spawning
Various fish can be found in different ocean biomes, but only salmon appear in rivers. Fish can also spawn in player-created bodies of water, as long as they are within a river or ocean biome.

notelist
In Java Edition, fish can spawn inside a water block at Y-level 50 to 63 (from 13 blocks below sea level up to inside the block one above it), that also has water above and below it. The spawn block and the block below can be any kind of water, such as a source block, falling water, bubble column, kelp, or even a waterlogged block (as long as the fish can be placed at the bottom center of the spawn block without colliding with anything solid). The block above must be pure water, such as a source block, falling water, or flowing water of any depth. Particularly, the block above cannot also be a bubble column, so fish no longer spawn inside bubble elevators.
Bedrock Edition does permit fish to spawn in bubble columns.
Fish can spawn between 24 and 64 block spherical range away from the player.java
Despawning
As of 1.16, fish can despawn at range of 40 blocks or more from the player, and will instantly despawn more than 64 blocks away, except when spawned using a bucket of fish.

Trivia
- Goats are the fifth mob that were added to a Bedrock Edition beta before a Java Edition snapshot. The first four mobs this happened for were dolphins, pandas, cats and piglin brutes.
- Goats are the first neutral mob that does not fight back after being hit.
- They are the first, and possibly the only mobs that make multiple baby animals immediately when bred, as opposed to turtles who lay multiple eggs that hatch later.
- The model for Goats was made in Blockbench.[6]
