Glowstone Dust is obtained by mining glowstone blocks (only found in the Nether or through Trading) and it may be dropped by a Witch. Glowstone dust no longer requires a pickaxe to obtain.
Uses
Glowstone dust has three main uses:
- To rebuild a Glowstone Block
- As a brewing ingredient to increase the potency of a potion's effect at the cost of its effect duration
- As a brewing ingredient to create Thick Potions
