It has not appeared in any development versions yet, but is planned to be included in Java Edition 1.19.
Frog spawn is a non-solid block that hatches tadpoles. It is laid by frogs.
Obtaining
Frog spawn is currently unobtainable as an item in Survival mode, even if mined with a Silk Touch tool. When broken, it drops nothing.
Usage
Hatching
Frog spawn hatches after several minutes[more information needed] of time, causing 2-6 tadpoles to spawn.
Placement
Frog spawn can be placed only on top of a water source block with air above it.
