Crafting Table
This article describes content that may be included in a future update.
This content has appeared in development versions, but the full update containing it has not been released yet.

A flower pot is an upcoming decorative block that allows saplings, mushrooms, flowers, cacti, ferns and dead bushes to be placed in it.

Plants that cannot be placed in a pot are: normal tall grass, vines, lily pads, pumpkins, melons, nether warts and sugar canes.

When broken it drops both itself and the plant it contained. When the block beneath the pot is broken, both the pot and the plant it contains drop as items.

Flower pots can be placed on upside-down slabs and upside-down stairs. They can not be placed on normal slabs and stairs. When aiming at the side of a block behind + above a crafting table the pot will not be placed on said block but on top of the crafting table instead. The same method works for furnaces and dispensers, but not for fences, cauldrons or chests.

The flower pot is 6/16 of a block high and can be stepped upon. It is not possible to walk from the top of a flower pot onto a full sized block without jumping.

Flower pots appeared in snapshot 12w34a and are expected for 1.4.
