| — Tom Stone[1] |
Fish are common passive mobs found in oceans and rivers. They come in 4 main variants: cod, salmon, puffer fish, and tropical fish.
Spawning
Cod spawn in normal, cold, and lukewarm oceans, and their deep variants.
Puffer fish and tropical fish spawn in lukewarm, warm, and deep lukewarm oceans.
Salmon spawn in cold and frozen oceans, and their deep variants. Unlike the other types of fish, they also spawn in normal and frozen rivers.
Drops
Fish drop 1 of their item form when killed: raw cod, raw salmon, pufferfish or clownfish. The drop will never be cooked, even if the fish is killed while on fire. A tropical fish will drop clownfish no matter what its type, pattern or colors are.
Behavior
Cod, salmon and tropical fish tend to swim in schools of fish (a maximum of nine cod, six salmon, and nine of the same tropical per school). Salmon are able to jump up waterfalls.[verify]
Weaknesses
None of the fish are able to survive out of water. Outside of water, they flop around for a while until eventually they die of suffocation damage. Cod, salmon and tropical fish will flip around on their sides.
Fish have a weakness to weapons that have the Impaling enchantment, which also affects squids, guardians, and elder guardians.
Defenses
Puffer fish will puff up when approached by a player, going from unpuffed, then semi-puffed, to fully puffed. Puffer fish are technically passive mobs but going near one when fully puffed will inflict the player with seven seconds of Poison, and touching them in their puffed form will deal some damage separate from the poison.
Tropical fish varieties
The 22 common varieties of tropical fish
When tropical fish spawn in the wild, 90% of the time they will come in one of the 22 varieties seen on the right, and the other 10% of the time their patterns, size and colors will be completely random, drawn from any of 2 shapes, 16 colors, 6 patterns, and 16 colors for the pattern. These result in 3072 naturally-occurring combinations. With commands, the player can summon tropical fish without patterns, giving a further 32 possible combinations.
Fish bucket
A fish bucket is a water bucket filled with fish, using to transport fish.
To fill a water bucket with fish, use it on a fish. Using a fish bucket will release the fish and water inside it.
The four variants of fish buckets correspond to the four variants of fish mobs. For example, a water bucket with a cod fish in it is called a cod bucket.
A fish bucket retains the data values of the fish inside it. For example, the variant of a tropical fish will not change when carried in a fish bucket.
Data values
Cod and salmon have entity data associated with them that contain various properties of the mob. Their entity IDs are minecraft:cod and minecraft:salmon.
Puffer fish and tropical fish have additional entity data, beyond what other fish have. Their entity IDs are minecraft:pufferfish and minecraft:tropical_fish.

Wheat is an item primarily obtained by harvesting fully-grown wheat crops. It is used for crafting as well as to feed certain animals.
Obtaining
Natural generation
wheat
Farming
Tutorials/Crop farming
When a fully-grown wheat crop is harvested, it drops 1 wheat and 1 to 4 wheat seeds (2 per crop harvested on average). A wheat crop has a total of eight stages (0-7) from the time it is planted until it can be harvested. If a crop is harvested before it is fully grown, it just drops one seed. Wheat needs light to grow; a seed is destroyed if planted without light. Harvesting with a Fortune-enchanted tool increases the number of seeds dropped but does not increase the yield of wheat.
Crafting
Drops
A fox sometimes spawns holding wheat, which it always drops upon death. Alternatively, the player can drop a food item, causing the fox to drop the wheat.
Usage
Food
When wheat is held, it causes nearby cows, sheep, goats and mooshrooms to follow the player, until either the player stops holding the wheat or goes too far away from the animal, thus leading them to lose interest.
Wheat may be used to breed cows, sheep, goats, and mooshrooms by first herding two of them together and then using the wheat on them to begin "Love Mode."
Wheat can heal a horse 1 health or lower its temper by 3% when attempting to tame it. It can also decrease the time it takes for a foal to grow by 20 seconds.
Similarly, wheat can heal a llama 2 health, and it decreases the time it takes a baby llama to grow by 10 seconds.
Crafting ingredient
crafting usage
Trading
Novice-level farmer villagers have a 25%bedrock or 40%java chance to buy 20 wheat for one emerald.
Composting
Placing wheat into a composter has a 65% chance of raising the compost level by 1. A stack of wheat yields an average of 5.94 bone meal.

The Reality vision was a joke helmet.
Usage
Reality vision was equipped via the helmet slot. When equipped, it showed a minimap in the bottom-center of the screen (which moved when the player's camera moves). The minimap showed all chunks that were currently rendered. The player's location was represented by a green beacon beam marker on the map.
It displayed a vision overlay (similar to the pumpkin overlay). The overlay would change to a new overlay if the player went into third person (unlike the pumpkin overlay), which made the screen appear like an old television screen. The overlay was called <code>cantseeshit<!-- Do not change this; this is that word that is actually used-->captain.png</code> in the assets folder. It activated a shader when equipped (<code>scan_pincushion</code>).
