Enchantments are spells you cast on a tool, weapon or armor piece to give it special features. To enchant something, you will need an Enchantment Table and the required level for the enchantment. The enchantments are written in the Standard Galactic Alphabet which is used in the Commander Keen series of computer games. If you want to decode the language yourself, there is a decoding website[1] on the Internet that was used to decode the enchantments for this page. The names of the enchantments appear to be built from random words and can be quickly decoded by replacing the 'alternate.png' in the font folder of the minecraft.jar with the 'default.png'
