Elytra (pronunciation: [ˈɛl ɪ trə] el-i-trə)[1] are items that allow the player to glide.

Obtaining

Elytra are found in end cities. One pair of elytra is found within an item frame in each End ship.

Usage

Elytra are equipped in the chestplate slot.

To initiate flying, the player must jump from a height of at least four blocks. From there, direction is controlled by looking left or right, and rate of descent is controlled by looking up or down. Looking upwards while gliding temporarily increases the player's altitude, however doing this for too long stalls the player (indicated by the player moving their limbs). The player will not take fall damage while the elytra are equipped unless the player is in a nose-dive (caused by looking straight down in midair), and then fall damage will be a result of the distance fallen during the nose-dive.

Landing or taking damage while elytra are equipped deals one point of durability damage. Elytra have 431 uses, however this can be increased by enchanting them with the Unbreaking enchantment using an anvil. They may be repaired with leather in an anvil. Each piece of leather used will repair the Elytra by 108 durability

File:Grid Broken Elytra.png After a pair of elytra's uses are all spent, they will no longer work unless they are repaired. These “broken” elytra have a different, tattered texture as an item, though they do not appear differently on the player. They require 4 leather to fully repair. Broken elytra will remain at a durability of 1, because they cannot lose more durability.

* The glowing reaction of Luminol during oxidation exists in real life. It is used for detecting blood in crime scenes.
* Players cannot enchant glowsticks with Unbreaking or Mending, despite it having durability.
* The black and light gray glow sticks use the same texture as the red glow stick.

A milk bucket is a drink obtained from a bucket on cows, mooshrooms and goats that can be consumed to clear all effects.

Obtaining
Harvesting
Milk buckets can be obtained from cows, mooshrooms, and goats by pressing use while looking at them with an empty bucket.

Mob loot
A milk bucket has a chance of dropping from a wandering trader, if the trader is killed while holding it.java

Usage
Holding use with a milk bucket starts the drinking sound and animation. java, the animation is shown only in first-person camera mode.

When consumed, milk immediately removes all status effects from the player. Fire is not a status effect; therefore, drinking milk doesn't extinguish a burning player.

The benefits of area status effects granted by beacons and conduit power are restored almost immediately in Bedrock Edition and after a few seconds in Java Edition.
