1.18.32, the first release of Mobile, Multiplayer & More, is a major update to Education Edition released on August 9, 2022. The update brought Caves & Cliffs: Part II features to Education Edition and added Android, iPhone, and iPod touch support.[1]

This update was first named 1.18.10 as Caves and Cliffs: Part 2, second it was 1.18.30, third it was 1.18.31 as Mobile, Mutliplayer & More and now it is named 1.18.32.

  • Now use new rendering engine RenderDragon.

Technical

WebSocket
  • JSON format for events sent from websocket server and Code Builder APIs updated to hierarchical JSON format.
  • Less useful properties removed, block and item IDs switched to name-based format instead of numerical format.
  • Agent commands in websockets moved to new "action:agent" format, all commands are queued and include unique ids to correlate responses.
  • Any future breaking changes to websocket and Code Builder APIs will now result in the "protocolVersion" being incremented.
