Copper ore is a mineral block found underground.
Obtaining
Breaking
Copper ore must be mined with a stone pickaxe or higher, or else it drops nothing.
| Block | Copper Ore | |
|---|---|---|
| Hardness | 3 | |
| Tool | ||
| Breaking time[A] | ||
| Default | 15 | |
| Wooden | 7.5 | |
| Stone | 1.15 | |
| Iron | 0.75 | |
| Diamond | 0.6 | |
| Netherite | 0.5 | |
| Golden | 1.25 | |
- ↑ Times are for unenchanted tools as wielded by players with no status effects, measured in seconds. For more information, see Breaking § Speed.
Natural generation
Copper ore can generate anywhere in the Overworld in the form of mineral veins. In Java Edition, it generates with a periodic normal distribution from levels 0 to 96. In Bedrock Edition, it generates evenly between levels 4 and 63 with the same rarity as iron ore.
Usage
The primary usage of copper ore is to obtain copper ingots. Copper ingots can be crafted into copper blocks, which takes only 4 ingots, unlike most mineral blocks. Copper ore does not weather like its block counterpart, though the ore itself shows some oxidization.

A pufferfish is a poisonous food item that is used to brew Water Breathing potions.
Obtaining
Fishing
Pufferfish can be obtained through fishing. The pufferfish catch rate can be increased by Lure, which reduces wait time generally.
<!--1-6 exp-->
bedrock, pufferfish can be caught only when fishing outside jungle biomes and its variants (i.e. everywhere except in jungles).
Mob loot
Guardians and elder guardians
Guardians and elder guardians have a 2.5% chance of dropping a random fish upon death. This has a 13% chance of being pufferfish (0.325% chance of dropping a pufferfish). The chance of getting a fish can be increased by 1% per level of Looting, but the type of fish is not affected.
Pufferfish
Pufferfish always drop 1 pufferfish in its item form when killed. This drop is not affected by the Looting enchantment.
Usage
Food
Pufferfish restores 1 hunger and 0.2 saturation, but inflicts Hunger III for 15 seconds, Poison II for 1 minute, and Nausea I[JE only] or II[BE only] for 15 seconds. Unlike rotten flesh, it is not helpful to eat pufferfish while starving because they inflict more hunger than they earn.

Trading
Master-level fisherman villagers buy 1~4 or four pufferfish for an emerald.
Wolves
Bedrock, pufferfish can be used to feed a wolf, healing it by , but only when the wolf is not at full health. Unlike other wolf food, pufferfish cannot be used to speed up the growth of baby wolves, and cannot be used to breed them.

Trivia
* The consumption of pufferfish inflicting the player with Nausea and Poison is based on reality. Real pufferfish contain the dangerous tetrodotoxin within their organs, especially in the liver. Tetrodotoxin leads to quick death through respiratory paralysis. Muscle tissue and blood contain trace amounts. In East Asia, pufferfish are considered a delicacy known as fugu, as small parts of the fish are actually edible. Any chef preparing fugu must have special licensing/certification to prepare this dish.

Mob loot
Tutorials/Iron golem farming
Iron golems drop 3-5 iron ingots upon death, regardless of the way they die. The looting enchantment does not increase the amount of iron ingots dropped.
Zombies, husks, and zombie villagers have a 2.5% (1) chance of dropping either an iron ingot, carrot, or potato when killed by a player or tamed wolf. This is increased by 1% (1) per level of looting. This gives iron ingots the following chances of dropping:
* 1 (about 0.83%)
* 7 (about 1.17%) with Looting I
* 9 (1.50%) with Looting II
* 11 (about 1.83%) with Looting III

A rabbit's foot is a brewing item obtained from rabbits.
Obtaining
Mob loot
Each rabbit has a 10% chance to drop a rabbit's foot when killed by the player. This chance can be increased by 3% per level using a sword enchanted with Looting.
A fox sometimes spawns with a rabbit's foot in its mouth, which always drops upon death. Alternatively, the player can drop a food item, which causes the fox to drop the rabbit's foot.
Cat gifts
Cat#Gifts
A tamed cat has a 70% chance of giving the player a gift when the player wakes up from a bed, and the gift has a 16.13% chance to be a rabbit's foot.

Obtaining
Dimension
A very fine item can only be obtained from an item frame in the isolation dimension. There is a maximum of 1 fine item that can be found legitimately in any world.
Cheats/Creative mode
This item can't be found in the creative inventory, but it can be middle-click duplicated in creative mode or given with the command.

Torchflower seeds are seeds that have a chance to be dropped by sniffers when they finish digging.
Obtaining
Sniffers will occasionally bury their nose in the ground and start digging. Once the sniffer has finished digging, one torchflower seed will have a chance to be dropped on the floor as an item.
Sniffers can only dig for torchflower seeds in the following blocks:
*Dirt
*Grass Block
*Podzol
*Coarse Dirt
*Rooted Dirt
*Moss Block
*Mud
*Muddy Mangrove Roots
They cannot dig for torchflower seeds on mycelium, which is intended.
Usage
Crop
Torchflower seeds can be placed on farmland, where they grow through three stages. Breaking the torchflower crop before it matures drops the seed, while breaking the final stage produces one torchflower and does not yield the seed.
Crops break if pushed by a piston or if their supporting farmland breaks or turns to dirt (i.e. by being trampled), dropping their usual drops.
Farmer villagers can plant torchflower seeds, but cannot harvest them after they have fully grown.
Feeding
Torchflower seeds can be used to breed sniffers and chickens and reduce the remaining growth duration of snifflets and chicks by 10%. Also, if some torchflower seeds were fed to an injured sniffer, it will heal it by 2 health points.
Taming
Torchflower seeds can be used to tame parrots.
Composting
Placing torchflower seeds into a composter has a 30% chance of raising the compost level by 1.
