Concrete is a solid block which comes in the 16 regular dye colors.
Obtaining
Hardening concrete powder
Concrete is formed when concrete powder comes into contact with water.
Breaking
Concrete requires a pickaxe to be mined. When mined without a pickaxe, it will drop nothing.
| Block | Concrete | |
|---|---|---|
| Hardness | 1.8 | |
| Tool | ||
| Breaking time[A] | ||
| Default | 9 | |
| Wooden | 1.35 | |
| Stone | 0.7 | |
| Iron | 0.45 | |
| Diamond | 0.35 | |
| Netherite | 0.3 | |
| Golden | 0.25 | |
- ↑ Times are for unenchanted tools as wielded by players with no status effects, measured in seconds. For more information, see Breaking § Speed.
Usage
Concrete's simple and vibrant colors makes it useful for decoration. Its hardness is slightly higher than stone, but its blast resistance is significantly lower.
