This feature is not enabled in-game by default and requires the use of the "update_1_20" experimental data pack to be implemented.

A cherry grove is a temperate biome where cherry blossom trees form a forest. The cherry grove is a source of petals, pink leaves and wooden blocks.

Description

Cherry groves are grasslands with a lot of grass, tall grass and, besides the traditional dandelions and poppies flowers, there are pink petals. The main environmental feature of the cherry grove are cherry blossom trees identified by their striking pink color. Their leaves drop petal particles. The cherry trees may generate densely enough create a cover of leaves. The cherry grove biome is good for a survival mode world, as sparseness of trees can help the player not to get lost while collecting a great abundance of resources.

The cherry grove is a little small in extension, is quite rare and, like the meadow, typically generate in the first layer of mountains. As result, the emerald ore generates underground in blobs. The grass color takes a lighter shade of lime, lighter than the hue from plains biomes. Likewise, the water color is pale.

In addition to the traditional passive mobs, rabbits may spawn in the cherry grove biome. Bee nests generate somewhat commonly on the side of the cherry trees.
