A bush is a natural decorative plant added in Spring to Life. Like short grass, It will adapt different shades of green depending on the biome.
Obtaining[]
Bushes can only be dropped as an item using shears or any tool enchanted with Silk Touch. Otherwise, it drops nothing.

Natural generation[]
Bushes naturally generate in the following biomes (at small patches):
- Birch Forest
- Old Growth Birch Forest
- Forest
- Plains
- Windswept Hills
- Windswept Gravelly Hills
- Windswept Forest
- Shores of River and Frozen River
Post-generation[]
Using a Bone Meal on a bush grows another bush on neighboring blocks.

Bushes can be placed on the following blocks:
- Grass Block
- Mycelium
- Podzol
- Dirt
- Coarse Dirt
- Rooted Dirt
- Farmland
- Mud
- Muddy Mangrove Roots
- Moss Block
- Pale Moss Block
In Bedrock Edition, it is possible to snowlog bushes.
Composting[]
Using a bush on a composter has a 30% chance of raising a compost level by 1.
