A bubble column is a block generated by placing magma blocks or soul sand in water. Bubble columns will push or pull entities in certain directions.

Obtaining

Bubble columns cannot be obtained as an item, and can only be placed by a block-placement command such as /setblock.

Natural generation

When generating the world, caves, ravines and underwater ruins will be created below the water surface. When lava is generated in the former two, some lava will be converted to obsidian, and some to magma blocks which will generate bubble columns. All bubble columns will generate bubble column blocks until the bubble column is on the surface of the water space it’s in or a solid block is in the way of the would-be taller bubble column.

Usage

A player can enter a bubble column to replenish their air supply. A bubble column is destroyed when moved by a piston. When creating a bubble column, all blocks above must be source blocks. This requires either naturally generated water, or for the player to place a water source for each block they would like the column to reach.

Whirlpool

Whirlpool bubble columns can be seen by air bubbles wandering downwards. They drag entities downwards. When a magma block is placed underwater, a whirlpool bubble column is generated. When riding a boat over a whirlpool it will begin to shake, and will sink if kept above the whirlpool for too long.

Upward

Upward bubble columns can be seen as vertically rising air bubbles. When soul sand is placed underwater, an upward bubble column is generated. An upward bubble column pushes entities upwards. The longer an object is rising through the bubble column the faster they will go. When the speed is high enough, the object (or player) will shoot out of the water by about 1 block.

Transport

Entities move at a speed of approximately 15 blocks (meters) per second when inside a bubble column. This equates to a speed of 900 blocks per minute, albeit only vertically.

Nether sprouts are a non-solid fungi block that generate in warped forests.

Obtaining
Natural generation
Nether sprouts generate in warped forest biomes.

Breaking
Nether sprouts can be mined instantly with any item. The block also breaks if the block below is removed, or if water flows into its space. The block only drops if broken with shears.

Post-generation
Applying bone meal to warped nylium creates nether sprouts on that block and surrounding nylium, along with both types of roots and fungi.

Usage
Nether sprouts can be planted on the same blocks that fungi and roots can be placed on: nylium, soul soil, grass, podzol, mycelium, moss, dirt, coarse dirt, rooted dirt, and farmland. However, they cannot be planted in flower pots.

Composting
Placing nether sprouts into a composter has a 50% chance of raising the compost level by 1.

Trivia
* Unlike other warped "plants", nether sprouts don't have a crimson equivalent. This is also the case with nether wart, which lacks a warped equivalent.

Raw copper is a raw metal resource obtained from mining copper ore.

Obtaining
Mining
Copper ore and deepslate copper ore mined with a stone pickaxe or better drops 2–5 units of raw copper. If the pickaxe is enchanted with Fortune, it can drop extra raw copper, allowing for a maximum of 20 units per ore block with Fortune III, or an average of 7.7 units of raw copper per ore block. If the ore is mined using a pickaxe enchanted with Silk Touch, it drops the ore block instead.
