This guide is a simplified overview of all changes in The Wild Update update (Bedrock Edition 1.19.x releases), which assumes at least some familiarity with the Caves & Cliffs updates (Bedrock Edition 1.17.x and Bedrock Edition 1.18.x releases)

Mobs

To navigate around, it relies on vibrations and smell. Not meant to be killed; has the highest health and the most powerful melee attack out of all mobs. Targets all other mobs, except other wardens.

The type of frog a tadpole grows into essentially depends on the biome's temperature. Can eat tiny slimes to produce slime balls. Can eat tiny magma cubes to produce froglights. The type of frog influences the froglight's color.
Tadpole		None	1–3 (when killed by a player or tamed wolf)	Spawns when hatching from frogspawn. Can be collected using a water bucket. Can not survive without water.
Allay		Woodland Mansion Pillager Outpost	None	Flies around and follows the player. Looks for dropped items of the same kind as the item given to it by the player. Brings the player those items. When a note block is played near it, the allay will throw items there instead.

Sculk Catalyst		Generates in the deep dark.	Hoe (requires Silk Touch)	When a mob dies nearby it, the catalyst blooms and spreads sculk family blocks around. The amount of sculk it spreads depends on how much experience the mob would have dropped.
Sculk Shrieker		Generates in the deep dark. Can be created by a sculk catalyst.	Hoe (requires Silk Touch)	Inflicts the darkness status effect. Summons a warden after being triggered three times.
Sculk Vein		Generates in the deep dark. Can be created by a sculk catalyst.	Hoe (requires Silk Touch)	Used for decoration. Can be placed on all six sides of a block, much like glow lichen.
Froglight		Produced when tiny magma cubes are eaten by frogs.	Pickaxe	Used for decoration.

All ancient cities have a large portal-like structure in the middle - the only place where the reinforced deepslate block generates. No mobs can spawn in this structure besides the warden, even if parts of it leak out of the deep dark.

Effects
