Axolotls are an upcoming underwater predator being released in the Caves & Cliffs update.
Axolotls are an upcoming Passive Mob coming to Minecraft in the Caves & Cliffs Update. They are tamed when a player picks them up in a Water Bucket. When tamed, they will attack Tropical Fish, Cod, Salmon, Pufferfish, Drowneds, Elder Guardians and Guardians. When untamed, they prey on all Fish types.
