The specific instructions are: Isometric images of structures
An ancient city is a palatial structure found in the deep dark, harboring chests containing items that cannot be found anywhere else or that help a player avoid a warden.
Structure
Environment aesthetics
An ancient city features a very large palace that stretches throughout a deep dark biome. The palace is made up of long corridors with gray wool floors to prevent vibrations as well as some smaller ruins off to the side of the main corridors, which contain between one or two loot chests. The city center features a frame resembling a warden's head, where there are reinforced deepslate blocks, which is an unobtainable material in Survival mode. Other unique blocks such as soul lanterns and candles as well as different forms of deepslate can be found here.
File structure
All ancient city structures found below are located in the folder client.jar/data/minecraft/structures/ancient_city.

Blocks
An ancient city is the only place in the Overworld where soul sand, soul soil and polished basalt can generate naturally. It is also the only place in the game where a skeleton skull can generate naturally.
Loot
The loot in the chests includes several useful items for exploring the ancient city, such as snowballs and the Swift Sneak enchantment. In Java Edition, each ancient city chest contains items drawn from 2 pools, with the following distribution:

bone
Mob loot
Skeletons, wither skeletons, skeleton horses, and strays may drop 0–2 bones upon death. The maximum drop is increased by 1 per level of Looting, for a maximum of 0-5 bones with Looting III.
bedrock, salmon, cod, pufferfish, and tropical fish have 25% chance to drop 1-2 bones upon death. The maximum drop is increased by 1 to 2 per level of Looting, for a maximum of 2-8 bones with Looting III.
Salmon (small and medium size) have 25% chance to drop 1 bone upon death, The maximum drop is increased by 1 to 2 per level of Looting, for a maximum of 2-7 bones with Looting III. The chance of dropping bones increases by 1% per looting level, so with Looting III there is up to a 28% chance of bones dropping.
Fishing
Bones can also be obtained by fishing as part of the junk category. The best chance of catching a bone is achieved without the Luck of the Sea enchantment, yielding a 1.1% chance.

While a bone cannot be equipped in the head slot in Survival mode, equipping it using commands causes it to appear in the player's mouth.
Taming
Using a bone on a wild wolf has a 1 chance of taming it. Bones cannot tame a hostile wolf or a wolf that has already been tamed. However, bones can be used to attract the attention of the tamed ones.

Usage
Written books can be opened by right-clicking (or holding down on the screen bedrock), and display a GUI allowing the player to read it or turn the page.
The contents of a book are an extra set of data attached to the item. This means that when a book is destroyed, its contents are lost with it.
Lecterns
One can place a written book on an empty lectern.
The lectern then emits a redstone signal depending on the displayed page in the book. On the last page, the lectern emits a signal strength of 15.
Chiseled bookshelf
the chiseled bookshelf while having a written book in the main hand will put the book inside the chiseled bookshelf.

Trivia
*When written books are obtained with commands (without the correct data tag), the label shows "Written Book" and has the text "*Invalid book tag*" when opened. The book is signed and cannot be edited without commands.
*Commands that were added to a written book using serialized JSON objects are executed through the chat system. This means that any command added to a written book can't be longer than 256 characters, which is the maximum chat line limit.
*During the 2020 April Fools Update Java Edition 20w14∞, throwing a written book into a lit nether portal would create a portal to one of the 2,147,483,645 new dimensions.
