Adventure Mode, formerly Dungeons and Levers, is an upcoming game mode.[1]
On the 14th of September 2011 Minecraft 1.8 was released. It was meant to be an update to the core game engine, to "flesh" it out. This "Adventure Update" should not be confused with the possible Adventure Mode itself. Adventure Mode is probably going to come out in 1.9 or 1.10
Features
- I will have programmable maps, buttons, pressure plates and levers.[1]
- You cannot place or destroy blocks.[1]
- Numerous randomly generated dungeons using a similar code from the current dungeon generator.
- There may be an update to combat making it more complex.
