Золоте яблуко (англ. Golden Apple) — це особливий предмет їжі. Якщо з'їсти золоте яблуко, можна отримати корисні ефекти.

Зачароване золоте яблуко (англ. Enchanted Golden Apple або Enchanted Apple y Bedrock Edition), також згадується в досягненні як Яблуко Нотча — більш рідкісний варіант золотого яблука, яке має більш сильніші ефекти.

Природна генерація

Золоті яблука можна знайти у 2.5% скринь у цитаделях, у 4.3% скринь у великих підводних руїнах, у 21.8% скрабниць, у всих іглу з підвалами, у 23.5% скринь у пустельних храмах , у 28.2% скринь у покинутих шахтах, та у 21.8% скринь у лісових маєтках, all in stacks of 1.

У Bedrock Edition золоті яблука можна знайти у 2.4% скринь у цидаделях та 21.5% скринь у лісових маєтках у кількості 1.

Зачаровані золоті яблука можна знайти у 3.1% скринь скарбниць, у 2.6% скринь у пустельних храмах, у 1.4% покинутих шахтах та у 3.1% скринь у лісових маєтках, всі у кількості 1.

У Bedrock Edition їх можна знайти у 3.1% скринь у лісових маєтках у кількості 1.

Переваги

• Золоте яблуко - єдиний продукт харчування, який викликає постійне відновлення здоров'я на деякий час і не залежить від голоду гравця. Це вказується на лінії здоров'я у вигляді серця, що б'ється вгору і вниз у вигляді хвилі, при цьому кожна повна хвиля відновлює половину серця.
• У порівнянні з здібностями регенерації, золоті яблука доступніші для боротьби з монстрами, ніж зілля, адже щоб отримати ефекти, які дає золоте яблуко з допомогою зіллеваріння спочатку треба знайти пекельний наріст та Вогняний прут.
• Золоте яблуко можна скласти у стак по 64 штуки, а зілля займають один слот кожне.
• Золоте яблуко можна з'їсти навіть при вітсутності голоду у гравця.
• Яблука мають низький шанс випадіння з листви дерев (0,5%), але ферма дерева може забезпечити гравця достатньою кількістю яблук.
• Золоті яблука технічно є відновлюваними ресурсами.
• Золоті яблука використовуються для лікування зомбі-селянина, а коли у світі вимкнута генерація структур - це єдиний спосіб отримання селян та торгівлі з ними.

Disadvantages

• Золоті яблука мають дуже невеликий шанс генерації у скринях скрабниць - 0,7%. .
• Золоті яблука є технічно відновлюваним ресурсом (для просунутих гравців), тому що золото можна добути з зомбі-свинолюдей. На практиці для звичайного золотого яблука потрібно 72 золотих самородка, а для зачарованого яблука 648 золотих самородків.

1.8					Due to the addition of hunger, Golden Apples were changed so that they only healed five hunger points, but also gave the status effect of regeneration for 30 seconds.
1.9-pre2					Golden Apples gained a purple glow when viewed from the player's inventory, and its name tag was changed from the standard white to a magenta color. However, Potions of Regeneration were also added, the effects of which lasted longer than that of the Golden Apple, but it is far easier to Craft a Golden Apple than to brew a Potion of Regeneration.

11w48a					Golden Apples became easier to craft. Red apples became able to very rarely drop from Oak Leaves, meaning that players no longer have to venture into Strongholds/Dungeons to find one; this caused the golden apple to decrease in value, but also made them easier to obtain.
1.1					Golden Apples were changed so that they only healed two hunger and only gave 4 seconds of regeneration. Their crafting recipe was also modified, requiring Gold Nuggets instead of Gold Blocks to craft. Although its natural spawn is rare, it is easier to obtain through crafting. With now common availability of apples and a cost of 1.25% their former cost in gold, they are for the first time a practical source of healing in Survival. All of these factors make the Golden Apple's value decrease greatly. Before, crafting a Golden Apple took 72 gold ingots (8 Gold Blocks). But after 1.1 it only takes 8/9 of an ingot (eight Gold Nuggets).
12w21a					Jeb tweeted that he has "decided to restore Notch's old Golden Apple and give it an effect proper for its crafting cost". On Reddit, he clarified that this will be a new item; the existing Golden Apple and its recipe will not change. A new Golden Apple was added, it highly resembles the Golden Apple prior to 1.1, having 30 seconds health regeneration, along with some new features like much faster health regeneration, 5 minutes of resistance and fire resistance. This Golden Apple, crafted with gold blocks, has a purple tooltip and shines like an enchanted item. The other one, crafted with gold nuggets, has a blue tooltip and no shine.
12w32a					Golden Apples can be fed to a Zombie Villager with the Weakness debuff and they will eventually turn back into Villagers.

Trivia

• Due to this item previously being able to heal the player a large amount, they are commonly found as rewards in custom adventure maps made prior to version 1.0.0.
  • However, a similar version of the previous Golden Apple was reintroduced in Snapshot 12w21a and Minecraft 1.3 as a separate item. This version has more features than the original Golden Apple.
• Golden Apples can also be found in the Xbox 360 Edition, although they are very rare and only can be found in dungeons.
• Enchanted Golden Apples provide the highest level potion effect thus far: Regeneration IV. The healing speed is enough to outrace nearly any source of damage short of creeper blasts.
