21w15a は、2021年4月14日にリリースされたJava Edition 1.17の17番目のスナップショットである。 このスナップショットでは、Block of Raw Metalとヤギがmobや防具立てに突っ込む機能を追加し、クリエイティブインベントリの配置を一部変更した。また、COVID-19パンデミックの影響により、高さ制限や洞窟の種類など、以前のスナップショットで行われたほとんどのワールド生成に関する変更が将来のバージョンに移された。そのため、これらの変更はJava Edition 1.16.5の仕様に戻された。

ブロック

Block of Raw Metal

• block of raw ironとblock of raw copperとblock of raw goldを追加した。
  • ピグリンはblock of raw goldを拾わず、 近くのプレイヤーがそれらを採掘しても起こらない。
  • クラフトで入手できる。.
  • それぞれの、raw metalにクラフトできる。
  • 精錬できない。

非mobエンティティ

マーカー

• マップ制作やデータパックなどの製作者向けのエンティティを追加した。
  • サーバー側にのみ存在し、クライアントに送信されることはない。
  • 独自の更新は行わない。
  • 任意のデータを含むことのできる  データ 複合フィールドを持っている。

コマンドフォーマット

/debug function

• 新しいデバックサブコマンドは、functionと同じ構文でコマンドを実行する。
  • 実行されたすべてのコマンド、メッセージ(通常は表示されない場合でも)、結果、そしてエラーはファイルに保存されます。
  • function内からは実行できない。

音

骨粉

• 骨粉を使用する音を追加した。

Goat

• さまざまなヤギが叫ぶ音を追加した。

ワールド生成

世界の高さ

• 世界の高さはJava Edition 1.16.5の仕様に戻され、再びY=0～255の256ブロックになった。
• スナップショット21w05bまたはそれ以前のバージョンで作成されたワールドをもう一度開くことができるようになった。
• スナップショット21w06a ～21w14a の間のスナップショットを開くことができなくなった。
  • これは、 level.dat のデータバージョンを2692～2709に設定することで回避できる。
• このデータパック を使用して新しいワールドを作成できる。

洞窟

• ノイズ洞窟とquifersはオフになった。
• 洞窟及び渓谷 は元に戻った。
• Crack carversはオフになった。

鉱石の分布

• 鉱石の分布はJava Edition 1.16.5の分布に戻された。
• 銅鉱石は、Y=0～192に生成され、Y=96付近で最も生成される。

凝灰岩

• Y=0～16で生成されるようになった。

一般

タイトル画面

• タイトル画面の背景は、アメジストジオードになった.

クリエイティブインベントリ

• クリエイティブメニューの[建築ブロック]タブでいくつかのブロックを並べ替えた。
  • 古代の残骸は他の鉱石の間に移動された。
  • 銅ブロックとネザライトブロックは、他の金属ブロックに移動された。
  • ネザー金鉱石は他の鉱石の間に移動された。
  • アメジストブロックは、他の鉱石ブロックの間に移動された。
  • 深層エメラルド鉱石は他の鉱石の間に移動された。
  • ひび割れた深層岩レンガとひび割れた深層岩タイルは、他のDeepslate Blockの間に移動された。
