21w14aは、4月7日にリリースされた、Java Edition 1.17の16番目のスナップショットである。Raw Metalが追加され、また酸化した銅(酸化度最高のもの)に蠟引きを施すことができるようになった。

Copper block

• 蠟引きされたOxidized Copper、Oxidized Cut Copper、そしてその亜種が追加された。
  • これにより、落雷による還元からOxidized Copperを守ることができる。

アイテム

Raw Metal

• Raw iron、Raw Copper、Raw Goldが追加された。
  • これらのアイテムは、ダイヤモンド、ラピスラズリ、エメラルド、レッドストーンダスト、石炭などと同様に、それぞれの鉱石を破壊すると入手できる。
  • 以前は鉄鉱石、Copper Ore、金鉱石の三種の鉱石のみ、破壊するとそのブロックそのものが手に入り、それを精錬することでインゴットを得ていたが、今回のスナップショットではそのシステムがその他の鉱石と統一され、通常のツルハシで採掘した場合に鉱石ブロックそのものが手に入ることはなくなった。
  • 幸運のエンチャントが掛ったツールで採掘すると、出てくるアイテム数が増える。
  • これを精錬することでインゴットを得ることができる。
    • 鉱石ブロックそのものは、シルクタッチのエンチャントを使えば入手できる。
  • ピグリンはRaw Goldを拾おうとする。

• MC-213665 – Crash upon attempting to generate a world with a height of 0 blocks.
