El menú de opciones de Música y Sonido

El entorno de los usuarios de Minecraft podrá ser configurado a través de el menú de Opciones. Algunas otras opciones solo podrán ser cambiados editando el archivo options.txt manualmente.

PC

Opciones

Al hacer clic en "Opciones", se nos llevará al menú principal de opciones:

Opción	Descripción
Campo de visión (FOV)	Ajusta el campo de visión de la pantalla. Se conoce como "FOV" por sus siglas en inglés (Field of View). Hay entre 30° y 110° (al estilo Quake).
Dificultad	Ajusta el nivel de dificultad entre "Pacífico", "Fácil", "Normal" y "Difícil". Nota: la dificultad no se puede cambiar si se está jugando en modo extremo. En un servidor, la dificultad solo podrá cambiarse con comandos o editando el archivo server.properties.)

Personalización del aspecto

Personalización del aspecto	Descripción
Capa	Capa a la espalda.
Chaqueta	Segunda capa corporal.
Manga izquierda	Segunda capa del brazo izquierdo.
Manga derecha	Segunda capa del brazo derecho.
Pantalón izquierdo	Segunda capa de la pierna derecha.
Pantalón derecho	Segunda capa de la pierna izquierda.
Sombrero	Segunda capa de la cabeza.

Ajustes súpersecretos

Si hacemos clic en el botón de "Ajustes súpersecretos" del menú de opciones se emitirá un sonido y la forma en la que ves el juego irá alternando entre distintos filtros.

Música y sonido

Ajustes de sonido	Descripción
Volumen maestro	Ajusta todos los niveles de volumen.
Música	Ajusta el volumen de la música del juego.
Clima	Ajusta el volumen de la lluvia y de los truenos.
Criaturas	Ajusta el volumen de las criaturas hostiles y neutrales.
Jugadores	Ajusta el volumen de los jugadores.
Bloques musicales	Ajusta el volumen de la música y sonidos reproducidos por el tocadiscos y los bloques musicales.
Bloques	Ajusta el volumen de los bloques (cofres, puertas, yunques, etc.).
Criaturas amistosas	Ajusta el volumen de las criaturas pacíficas.
Ambiente/Entorno	Ajusta el volumen de sonidos de cueva y fuegos artificiales.

Ajustes de retransmisión

Los ajustes de retransmisión te permiten alternar entre diferentes variables cuando retransmites en Twitch.

Ajustes de retransmisión	Descripción
Calidad	Ajusta la calidad general de vídeo.
Velocidad de fotogramas	Ajusta los fotogramas por segundo de tu vídeo.
Ancho de banda	Ajusta la cantidad máxima de ancho de banda que se puede utilizar para retransmitir.
Envío de metadatos	Ajusta si envía o no metadatos al retransmitir.
Volumen del micro	Ajusta el volumen de tu micrófono.
Volumen del sistema	Ajusta el volumen de todo tu sistema.
Pulsa para...	Ajusta tu botón de "Pulsar para hablar/Silenciar".
Compresión	Ajusta el nivel de compresión del vídeo.
Activar chat	Nunca: desactiva el chat. Mientras retransmites: activado mientras retransmites. Siempre: activado constantemente.
Filtro de usuarios	Todos los espectadores pueden escribir en el chat. Los suscriptores pueden escribir en el chat. Los moderadores pueden escribir en el chat.

Servidores de retransmisión de Twitch

Haciendo clic en "Servidores de retransmisión de Twitch" en tus ajustes de retransmisión, podrás elegir el servidor en directo de Twitch en el que quieres retransmitir.

Ajustes de vídeo

Ajustes de vídeo	Descripción
Gráficos	Fancy enables higher quality graphic effects, such as transparent leaves, simple shadows for players/mobs, volumetric clouds, full-screen Vignette effect. Fast disables those effects for better performance.
Distancia de renderizado	Distancia máxima a la que Minecraft carga chunks. Si tu distancia de renderizado es alta, tus FPS podrían disminuir significativamente. Para más información sobre esto, consulta la sección de "Distancia de renderizado".
Smooth Lighting	Luz is smoothed across the blocks (ambient occlusion), or each block has a distinctive luz level. This setting does not change the gameplay in any way, but it has a slight effect on performance.
Max Framerate	Limits the FPS. It is suggested to limit FPS to the screen's refresh rate, usually 60 Hz (60 FPS), as setting it higher results in frames being drawn that you won't see, overworking the GPU, and slowing the loading of chunks.
3D Anaglyph	Enables the player to use 3D glasses.
View Bobbing	Toggles the "bobbing" motion of the camera as the player is walking. Disabling it may increase performance.
Escala GUI	Controls the GUI (Graphical User Interface) scale. This also controls the HUD (Heads Up Display) size. Using the "Auto" GUI scale can set the normally un-obtainable "Larger" GUI scale, if playing with a large resolution.
Nubes	Controls if the clouds should be drawn.
Brillo	Dims down or luz up the game's surfaces, even if fully dark. It has no effect on gameplay, it is only a visual effect. Works in any dimension and affects the Night Vision potion effect..
Partículas	Allows particles effects such as sprinting particles, falling particles and particles from lava and water drips. Block breaking particles are not affected. Hearts appearing around mobs in Love Mode do not appear in "Minimal" particle setting.
Pantalla completa	Puts Minecraft into Fullscreen mode, keeping it off keeps it in a window. Can also be changed with F11.
Usar VSync	Limits your frames per second to the screen's refresh rate, which is usually 60 Hz, 75 Hz on some CRT screens, or 120 to 144 Hz on some gaming-targeted screens. Enabling VSync fixes tearing, but increases input latency and causes stuttering if one's computer cannot draw enough frames per second.
Mipmap Levels	The higher the level, the more the textures look "smooth".
Bloques alternos	Toggles alternate block models. When turned off, the least complex highest priority model will always be used.
Usar VBOs	Toggles vertex buffer objects.

From the main Options page, one can click down to Controls for configuring keyboard controls.

Idioma

Te permite cambiar el idioma del juego.

Ajustes de multijugador

Opción	Descripción
Chat	Shown enables your ability to see the chat on a server. Commands Only allows you to only see the output of commands in the chat. Hidden hides the chat on all servers.
Colores	ON allows you to see the chat in many different colors. OFF disables this function and only allows you to see the chat in a light gray color.
Enlaces web	ON allows you to see URLs and other links in the chat. OFF disables this function and blocks all URLs and other links.
Opacidad	The opacity of the chat.
Prompt on Links	ON forces a prompt to appear on your screen whenever you click on a URL to makes sure that you wish to exit Minecraft and head to the website. OFF turns the prompt off.
Escala	How large the chat is shown.
Focused Height	The max height that the chat is allowed to appear when in focus (chat input and history open).
Unfocused Height	The max height that the chat is allowed to appear normally (chat input and history closed).
Anchura	Anchura máxima del chat al aparecer.
Información reducida de depurado	Toggles reduced information on the debug screen.

Server Resource Packs	Allows Minecraft to download resource packs from the server.

Resource Packs

Allows you to change your Resource pack settings.

Snooper Settings

Snooper allows Mojang to collect information about your machine to help improve Minecraft by knowing what they can support and where the biggest problems are. All of this information is completely anonymous and able to be viewed within the settings page. They promise they won't do anything bad with this data, but if you want to opt out then feel free to toggle it off!

Controls

Option	Description
Sensitivity	Changes the sensitivity of the camera when turning.
Invert Y-Axis	Toggles inversion of camera when looking up/down.
Lefty	Toggles the D-pad being on the left/right side of the screen.
Split controls	Chooses whether to use the touchscreen to interact throughout the screen or use a crosshair.
D-Pad size	Changes the size of the D-pad. Smaller D-pads allow extra slots for the hotbar.

Destroy block (vibrate)	Toggles vibration when destroying blocks

Gráficos

Opción	Descripción
Ver distancia	Changes the render distance. Available in 3-5 subsections on the slider (depending on the device).
Fancy Graphics	Toggles fancy graphics. Note that clouds on fast graphics remain volumetric but become opaque.
Cielos bonitos	Toggles the sun, moon, clouds, stars and sky color.
Agua animada	Toggles animated texture for agua, lava y fuego.

Ocultar GUI	Toggles if the HUD is displayed.
Limitar mundos	Toggles whether a world is infinite or compressed to a 256x256 block area (Only available on supported low-end devices)
