Some features have been removed from the Pocket Edition. These features may have been replaced, or a developer decided against the feature later on.
Note that this page only documents game features that were removed, features of a particular game element that were removed are noted in that element's history
When a splash is removed, the line it occupied in splashes.txt is deleted, meaning the line number of all subsequent splashes lowers by one.

Blocks and Items
The cyan flower was replaced with the poppy in 0.9.0.
The InfoReserved6 was added in 0.3.3 replacing Fire, due to a spreading error, in the inventory it was referred as .name, then in Alpha 0.7.0 Fire was re-added and replaces the InfoReserved6, as of in Alpha 0.7.0 all the way to Alpha 0.14.2 it could only be obtained by inventory editor, however in Alpha 0.15.0 it was removed completely, even if using inventory editor will not do a thing anymore because its texture was shown as an Info Update Block, but then in Alpha 0.16.0, the InfoReserved6 block was added and can now be placed with /setblock.
Nether Reactor functions
The functions of the Nether Reactor were removed in 0.12.1 due to the addition of the Nether. The block still exists, but nothing will happen when tapping it.
Nether Reactor Core
The functionality of the Nether Reactor was removed in Pocket Edition 0.12.1. However, the reactor core block still exists in game, and can be obtained through inventory editing or by retaining it from previous worlds before the update. But it now drops its ingredients, allowing players to recover them.
Being a part of the nether reactor, glowing obsidian blocks were also removed in 0.12.1. It emitted a soft red glow at light level 12, and dropped a single obsidian when broken with a diamond pickaxe. It can only be obtained through inventory editing .
NPC is a mob-like villager with re-textured villager skin, but slightly taller than the normal villager. It is an Education Edition feature that accidentally added while in 0.16.0 development, later it got removed from Pocket Edition because it is not a part of the game.
