== Eigenschaften ==
Leuchtender Obsidian entstand bei der Aktivierung des [[Netherreaktor]]s aus dem benutzten [[Bruchstein]] und den [[Goldblock|Goldblöcken]]. Er gab ein ähnliches Licht ab wie [[Leuchtstein]], hatte aber die gleichen physischen Eigenschaften wie normaler [[Obsidian]], da er nur mit einer [[Diamantspitzhacke]] und in der gleichen Zeit abgebaut werden konnte. Beim Abbau erhielt man normalen Obsidian. Während der Reaktor in Betrieb war, war der leuchtende Obsidian von roten Partikeln umgeben, die den Partikeln von aktivierten [[Redstone-Leitung]]en glichen. War der Reaktor inaktiv, wandelte sich der leuchtende Obsidian wieder in normalen Obsidian um.
Außerdem schmolz er [[Schnee]] und [[Eis]] in seiner Nähe (wie die meisten leuchtenden Blöcke).

Die Uhr funktioniert ähnlich wie der [[Kompass]], in dem Sinne, dass man sie zwar nicht auf irgend etwas anwenden kann, sie jedoch der [[Tag-Nacht-Rhythmus|Tageszeit]] entsprechend jeweils ein anderes Bild zeigt: Sie zeigt den Stand der [[Sonne]] oder des [[Mond]]es in Relation zum Horizont an. Die Uhr funktioniert auch, wenn sie sich im Inventar befindet und nicht gehalten wird oder in einem [[Rahmen]] hängt.
Befindet man sich im [[Nether]] oder im [[Ende]], ist die Uhr ebenso wie der Kompass unbrauchbar, da sich die Anzeige ziellos hin- und herbewegt.
[[Kompass]], Uhr und [[Eimer]] sind die einzigen [[Werkzeug]]e, die man stapeln kann und welche sich nicht abnutzen.

Die Uhr besteht aus zwei Hälften, einer Tag- und einer Nachtseite, die sich langsam im Kreis drehen. Die Uhrzeit ergibt sich aus dem Stand der Himmelskörper.
Legt der Spieler sich schlafen bleibt die Uhr stehen. Sobald er wieder aufwacht, pendelt sich die Uhr langsam ein.
